Frequently asked questions
Everything customers usually ask before booking. If your question is not here, give us a call and we will answer it properly.
Window cleaning
- How often should I have my windows cleaned?
- We offer rounds every 4, 6 or 8 weeks. Four weeks keeps glass consistently clear and each visit is quicker; eight weeks suits sheltered homes away from busy roads and tree cover. Six weeks is a comfortable middle for most family homes.
- Are frames and sills included?
- Yes. Frames, sills and accessible external doors are cleaned as standard with regular window cleaning.
- What is purified-water window cleaning?
- We filter the minerals out of the water before it reaches the pole, so what lands on your glass is purely water. It dries without leaving spots or detergent residue behind.
- Why are my windows left wet after cleaning?
- That is normal with purified water — it is left to dry naturally and leaves the glass clear, so there is no need to wipe or dry off.
- Can you clean windows above conservatories or extensions?
- Usually yes. Water-fed poles reach over conservatories and extensions where there is safe access. The quote form asks about these so your price allows for them.
- Do you offer one-off cleaning?
- Yes. One-off cleans are available for a party, a viewing or after building work, with no obligation to book again.
- Why might the first clean cost more?
- Extra time is often needed on the first visit to bring the windows, frames and sills up to our regular maintenance standard. Any difference is shown in your quote before you book.
Booking and visits
- How do I get a quote?
- Use the free instant quote on this site. You answer a few questions about your property and the service you want, and your price appears straight away — no waiting for a call back.
- Do I need to be home?
- Not for exterior work. We just need access to the garden or side gate. Let us know if a gate is locked or a dog is out.
- What happens if it rains?
- We work in most weather — rain does not undo a purified-water clean. We will only postpone when conditions make the work unsafe, and we will let you know.
- Can I add gutter, fascia, conservatory or solar-panel cleaning?
- Yes. You can add any of our services to the same quote and the same visit, and the total updates instantly as you add or remove jobs.
- What areas do you cover?
- Holmer Green, Hazlemere, Amersham, Beaconsfield, Great and Little Missenden, Penn, the Chalfonts, Seer Green, Gerrards Cross, High Wycombe and the surrounding South Buckinghamshire areas.
Payment and cover
- Are you insured?
- Yes — we carry public liability insurance for every job we carry out.
- How do I pay?
- Bank transfer or card after the visit, or Direct Debit if you would rather it was automatic. There is no contract and you can stop at any time.
- How does Direct Debit work?
- Regular customers can set up a Direct Debit mandate through our secure payment provider. Setting it up does not take a payment — it simply lets us collect for cleans once they have been done.
